  13. Cub'x Systemes announces its support for the new NeXT strategic orientation.

  15. Paris, France, Feb 22nd, 1993.  Cub'x Systemes announces it totally supports
  16. NeXT's recent decision to stop manufacturing hardware, and dedicate its
  17. activities to promoting the NeXTSTEP operating system on multiple hardware
  18. platforms.
  19.  
  20. "We are extremely pleased to see NeXT cementing a strategy long awaited in the
  21. computer market. It will permit NeXTSTEP to reach the prominent position that
  22. it rightfully deserves as the leading object oriented operating system", says
  23. Gerard Laurent, Cub'x Systemes General Manager.  "We find our efforts for the
  24. promotion of NeXTSTEP now rewarded by the dramatic expansion of the number of
  25. potential users, and this will open new exciting opportunities for software
  26. development."

  28. Cub'x Systemes is presently porting its software products - Cub'X-Window and
  29. intuitiv'3d - onto NeXTSTEP for Intel Processors.

  31. Cub'x Systemes has developed the following software packages :
  32.  
  33. - Cub'X-Window, X-Window client/server architecture for the NeXT. Its new
  34. version 4.0 will be available on NeXTSTEP for NeXT hardware in March 1993 and
  35. on NeXTSTEP for Intel Processors in May 1993. This new version provides a
  36. X11R5 solution, numerous new  features, and still increased speed performance.

  38. - intuitiv'3d, a complete 3d creation environment. It will be released on
  39. NeXTSTEP for NeXT hardware and NeXTSTEP for Intel Processors during NeXTWorld
  40. Expo, on May 25th.

  42. Cub'x Systemes will continue to support and upgrade Cub'X-Window and
  43. intuitiv'3d on NeXT computers and will continue to port its NeXTSTEP software
  44. products onto each new NeXTSTEP capable hardware platform.
